About Vernon Sorenson M.D.
Dr. Sorenson was the Medical Director for Emergency Services at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital from 1975 until 2007. He has been the Medical Direction of Memorial Urgent Care Center since its inception in 1985. He has used his experience in the delivery of acute medical care to recruit the group of expert providers of medical care at Memorial Urgent Care Center.

About Virginia Alvidrez, M.D.
Dr. Alvidrez was born in Bakersfield and was raised in Taft. She began her career as an urgent care provider at Peachwood Medical Group in Fresno, California for 4 years. She then worked at Taft Urgent Care Center for one year prior to joining Memorial Urgent Care Center. She has provided care to urgent care patients at our facility since 2007.
